ISMS | X INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON MARINE SCIENCES

X International Symposium on Marine Sciences (ISMS 2026)

The 10th International Symposium on Marine Sciences will be held on July 8, 9 and 10, 2026, organized thanks to the collaboration of the six Spanish universities where the Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Sciences is taught (Universitat de Alicante, Universitat de Barcelona, University of Cádiz, University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Catholic University of Valencia and University of Vigo).

As in the previous edition, several symposia of diverse nature will also take place at this Congress. In this way, the Congress represents an excellent meeting point for students and professionals in the field of Marine Sciences. All meetings will be held on the same dates and there will be a single registration, which will allow attendance at any of the presentations.

The ISMS is the most important event in marine sciences in Spain and one of the most relevant in the European context. It represents an important opportunity for the scientific dissemination of results obtained in the different areas of marine research. Researchers and professionals in the sector will have the opportunity to present the results and conclusions of their studies, and students or recent graduates will find a suitable platform to publicly disseminate their Bachelor’s or Master’s Final Projects.
